In the new season of Sister Wives, Kody and Robyn Brown reveal that they will no longer be a part of the hit TLC series. This is shocking given how much Kody loves to be the center of attention. In a preview for Season 21, his former first wife, Meri Brown, tells Kody to “f*ck” off. Keep reading for more details on what caused this reaction.
Meri Brown Rode Hard For Kody
As much as it angered Sister Wives fans, Meri Brown rode hard for Kody Brown. He was very clearly done with her between 2014 and 2015, when they faced struggles. She began an online romance and ended up getting catfished, which nearly wrecked her relationship with her sister wives. Kody had left her home in Las Vegas to take a break, but Meri had no idea he would never return. She was desperate to save their marriage, as she was his first wife. Moreover, she really did love him with her whole heart, but he repeatedly pushed her away.
Viewers wanted her to see her self-worth and leave him, but it was not an easy process. Finally, after Christine Brown Woolley exited, Meri and Janelle Brown followed suit. Meri has begun dating and sowing her oats. In the preview for Season 21, she talks about not being on speaking terms with Kody and Robyn:
“ … you know who’snot willing to talk to me? Kody and Robyn. And then they’re like, ‘Umm, also, we’re not going to film with you guys anymore.’”
She shared this news with her circle of friends, who question whether this is a permanent decision. Meri Brown seems unsure whether Kody and Robyn will return, given that they are not in communication. She then goes on to say that she believes Kody and Robyn have been monogamous since 2010. Quickly, Meri thinks that she will catch heat for this statement and realizes she does not care:
“ … ya know what, [Kody’s] not filming anymore, so f**k him.”
