LCD Soundsystem is keeping its annual New York residency alive for another year. The band has announced 12 Bowery Presents-produced shows across three weekends in November and December, continuing a tradition that dates back to the opening week of Brooklyn Steel in 2017.
The 2026 run will begin with four shows at Queens’ Knockdown Center on Nov. 19-22, before LCD Soundsystem returns to Brooklyn Steel for four nights from Nov. 30-Dec. 3. The residency will then wrap up with another four-night stretch at Knockdown Center from Dec. 10-13. The Brooklyn Steel portion will carry an especially significant milestone, as the Nov. 30 concert is the 100th of the residency.
The James Murphy-led band is marking the occasion with a charitable component. LCD Soundsystem will donate 100 percent of ticket sale proceeds from the Nov. 30 show to a charity to be announced. The 2026 shows will again feature a rotating assortment of live openers, along with afterparties featuring DJ sets from special guests. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 9.
Following the residency, LCD will cap the year with a Dec. 30-31 and Jan. 1 visit to Belly Up in Aspen, Co. The group will also open two August 2027 gigs in Rome for Harry Styles, whose own new LP, Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally, was heavily influenced by the band.
And although the word is mum about the status of LCD’s long-in-the-works next album, its first since 2017, there is new music from the band’s extended universe. Guitarist Al Doyle’s new song, “Hard Times in America,” is out now via DFA Records and previews his upcoming solo debut, Hollywood Saviour.
