t’s no secret that this was a pretty dreamy summer for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. However, apparently, one key player wasn’t in attendance. Keep reading to find out who didn’t show up to Travis and Taylor’s big day.
Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift Get Married
Travis Kelce has been talking for weeks about just how magical his wedding was to pop star Taylor Swift. Taylor and Travis shocked fans when they first revealed their love back in 2023. The couple seemed to heat up quickly, and by 2025 they were engaged. Then, this summer, they had a star-studded wedding at the iconic venue, Madison Square Garden.

While many fans were shocked that they had their wedding in such a large venue, Travis explains that it was perfect for all of the people they needed to invite. Not to mention the security measures they could take.
“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel,” Travis says about their big day. “And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”
There were a lot of guests at the wedding, especially when it comes to Travis’s NFL colleagues. However, one key player didn’t make it to the big day.
Skipping The Big Wedding
According toYahoo!, not everyone could make it to Travis’s wedding. This week, during Monday Night Countdownon ESPN, Travis decided to call one person out.
Travis was sitting with both Van Pelt and Pat McAfee during the show, both of whom attended the wedding. However, someone else sitting at the desk did not.
“There was another person on the desk invited, but he did no-show us,” Travis says.
He then turns to Marcus Spears. “Still don’t really know why,” he says.
However, it seems like Marcus had a pretty good reason to miss the big day. He had a family obligation.
“That’s on me. Family obligation with my son, who you know he got a lot of stuff going on,” he explains to Travis.
Of course, the other boys at the table were excited by the tussle.
“Hook him. Hook him,” Van Pelt adds.
Marcus threw in a last apology. “I apologize,” he says.
Despite this one absence, there was still a huge guest list in attendance. This includes comedian and actor Adam Sandler, who actually officiated the whole thing. So, needless to say, the show went on, even without the former Cowboys player there.
