System of a Down have unveiled a new 25th anniversary edition reissue of their legendary albumToxicity along with a merch capsule in celebration of the major milestone.
The anniversary collection includes a wide range of items, including vinyl and CD, shirts, skate decks, ashtrays, and more.

The CD reissue ofToxicity features new cover artwork as well as a correctly identified hidden track, previously known among the fanbase as “Arto,” here titled “Der Voghormia,” a traditional Armenian hymn. The vinyl reissue comes on a special color edition along with a bonus 7” containing the song “Johnny,” previously only available on rare special editions of Toxicity.

The merchandise collection has a number of rare and unique items. There is a recreation of the album release party T-shirt given out exclusively to attendees and which was famously shut down by the police, “Chop Suey!” Chinese takeout earrings, a compact mirror, and much more, in addition to a number of new T-shirt and hoodie designs. Consequence placed Toxicity at No. 5 on our lis of the 50 Best Albums of 2001, and and No. 11 on our 100 Best Sophomore Albums of All Time list. The album was released exactly 25 years ago on September 4th, 2001.
