After Brittany Snow teased that The Hunting Wives season 2 would have even “more steamy” scenes, the trailer has finally dropped, giving fans a glimpse of just how hot the new episodes will be.
The trailer shows the series picking up where season 1 left off, with all of the deadly drama, sapphic chaos, and intense chemistry between Snow and co-star Malin Åkerman that fans were obsessed with.
“At the start of Season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs,” the official synopsis reads. “But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
When the first season dropped on Netflix, The Hunting Wives instantly became a fan favorite and entered the cultural zeitgeist, something that was especially exciting because of how little lesbian sex is usually shown on television.
It’s impossible to know if the show — and its now-infamous spicy scenes — will live up to expectations, but the trailer is hot and also shows off some of the new additions to the show, including John Stamos and Dale Dickey (Widow’s Bay).
The show is known for its sapphic relationship, but the trailer also shows a quick flash of newcomer Alex Fitzalan as Lincoln Trout in a scene where he is shirtless and being straddled by Brad, who is holding handcuffs.
The trailer is only two minutes long, but it packs in 6 moments that have us drooling.
