It’s been a week since Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival hit the scene, and Saber Interactive has been collecting player feedback and data to improve the game even further. Out now for Steam players is content Update 1.1 which addresses concerns over progression, softlocks, visuals and more. For all console players, there will be a patch coming soon.
For starters, the team has added a startup notice that tells you when your GPU driver is out of date and needs updating. There have also been fixes for issues involving collision that would have players clipping through the world, or preventing you from completing the Charlotte chase sequence.
Other fixes include the victim disappearing in the cutscene when you pick up the knife, as well as reducing the pop-in of geometry and lighting when backtracking through the Dungeon, the Chatterer chase and a stairwell area. You can read the full list of fixes in the patch notes here.
There has also been a major patch update to the current Steam demo, which includes significant gameplay and movement improvements, save transfer fixes, various audio and music adjustments, and more.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch 2. And just in case you haven’t been convinced, check out Harrison’s review of the game.
