The Valley cast can be divided, but one thing that has united many of them is their disdain for Jax Taylor. He has been awful and hard to handle on multiple occasions. Now, his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, has filed for and was granted a restraining order against him.
Some believe that she should have done this in 2024, when she claimed the abuse happened. However, her co-stars are standing by Brittany, stating that his behavior has not changed up until today. Keep reading for more details.
Jax Taylor Allegedly Threatened To End Brittany’s Life
Before Season 1 of The Valley premiered, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their split. Therefore, viewers saw how the demise of their marriage played out. It was not much of a surprise, as they had been struggling for a while. Moreover, he had cheated before they got engaged, and she knew what kind of man he had been before they started dating. Brittany alleged that Jax had thrown furniture, which knocked her in the knee, causing quite a bruise. He was even seen lashing out at his co-stars, and it soon came out that he had a cocaine addiction that spanned twenty years.
Eventually, Jax entered rehab, received a few diagnoses, and tried to become a better person. That seemingly did not happen, and Brittany just received a restraining order from him. She claimed that he had threatened to “gut” her “like a fish” and “f–king kill” her. There were violent explosions and more, all of which allegedly happened in 2024. Questions arose as to why she did not file back then, with Jax writing this:
“I was shocked to see claims about alleged incidents from over two years ago being brought up now, especially when there have never been any police reports filed or criminal charges brought against me related to them.”
He also noted that he has been in treatment and is 1 year and 9 months sober. However, Brittany’s Valley co-stars jumped to her defense. Zack Wickham and Jasmine Goode claimed that the abuse has not stopped and are proud of her for taking a stand. Jasmine had this to say:
As for Zack, he released a statement and added this:
- Because his behavior is still harassing and unstable as ever. Yes, there is documentation of past behavior from years ago, but there are also examples in the documents from two days ago CUZ HE HASNT CHANGED.
Jax Will Never Change
The Valley fans firmly believe that, no matter what, Jax Taylor will never be capable of change. He has preached that he is a work in progress, but keeps making the same mistakes:
- Jaxa*s is exactly the same person today that he was back then. Just look at his behavior and posts over the past week as proof. People dont change. Their habits can change but their personalities are theirs for life….
- He’s a perpetual ‘work in progress’.
Of course, some people think that Brittany Cartwright needed her minions to rally for her. Regardless, this is a situation that never should have happened.
