Just recently, Hallmark announced that they have renewed When Calls The Heart for Season 12. Therefore, Hearties will certainly want to know when the cameras will start rolling for this next season.

Industry Site Reveals When Calls The Heart Starts Season 12 Production
Although When Calls The Heart Season 11 is currently airing on Hallmark, the cast and crew are preparing to film Season 12. According to inducting production site Creative BC, Hope Valley will come alive with production dates between July 8, and October 29. That is just a couple of weeks after the June 23 WCTH Season 11 finale entitled “Anything For Love.”
That means such stars as Erin Krakow, Jack Wagner, and others will descend on the Jamestown Film Set to start filming another season of the beloved Hallmark series.
Who Is Returning For WCTH Season 12?
Although the industry site lists that When Calls The Heart Season 12 will start production in early July, there is no information on who will be returning. However, there are two stars that fans may wonder about.
Firstly, will Kayla Wallace return as Fiona Miller? She was not part of WCTH Season 11 because she was starring in Taylor Sheridan’s new series Landman. Although the first season of the Yellowstone creator’s new series did not film until early this year, it seems likely that the original filming dates conflicted with filming of the Hallmark series. However, the strike delayed many productions. But, WCTH got special permission from SAG-AFTRA to film.
In addition, Demi Moore just revealed that Landman is returning for Season 2, but will not be filming until early 2025. That means this would not conflict with this upcoming Season 12 production.
Therefore, could Kayla return? Hearties will have to wait for Hallmark to make an announcement.
Next, many Team Lucas fans have expressed concern about Chris McNally’s WCTH future. This concern is mainly because he is the Governor. Will the Tipline Mysteries star be returning for more? There is no reason to believe Chris would be leaving this series. However, his role technically takes place in another town.
Viewers will have to watch to see what happens in the remaining episodes of Season 11 to determine whether or not Lucas Bouchard will be back for Season 12.
