Chappell Roan Taps Tinashe, Lola Young For LGBTQ+ Benefit – SPIN

Chappell Roan is turning queer joy into a full-blown spectacle. The Grammy-winning pop star has unveiled an expanded lineup for the Super Graphic Spectacular, a two-night benefit at Los Angeles’ Shrine on Oct. 21-22, bringing together Caroline Polachek, Lola Young, MUNA, Tinashe and a host of drag, burlesque and circus performers.

Amanda Lepore, Blaine Petrovia, Kyra Jeté, Alisa Mae, Fantasia Royale Gaga and Sweaty Eddie are also on the bill, with comedian Caleb Hearon hosting.

The event serves as the flagship fundraiser for Roan’s Midwest Princess Project, the nonprofit initiative she launched in 2025 to support trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. With help from Cash App, eBay, MAC Cosmetics and MISTR, the Spectacular will combine live music and performance art with hands-on community engagement. Every dollar raised will go towards the organization’s ongoing programs.

Roan has also announced the Super Graphic Block Party, a daytime gathering in the West Lot outside the Shrine. The event will feature drag performances, food trucks, vendors, nonprofit booths, volunteer opportunities and ticket giveaways for the evening show. From 1-4 p.m., the public can attend with a $15 ticket, with all net ticket proceeds donated to the Midwest Princess Project. Ticket holders for the Spectacular will have access to the block party from 4:30-7:30 p.m., though space is limited and entry is not guaranteed.

The two-night Spectacular will culminate in a special closing performance from Roan and collaborators to mark Midwest Princess Project’s first year. The organization has raised more than $800,000 through donations and proceeds from Roan’s Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things pop-up shows, which featured a format similar to the Spectacular.

The initiative builds on Roan’s earlier We Got You! Fund, established after her 2024 Best New Artist Grammy acceptance speech called attention to healthcare access and sustainable livelihoods for artists.
