Morgan Wallen Apologizes for Throwing Chair Off Roof of Nashville Bar


Morgan Wallen has issued public apology for throwing a chair off of the sixth story of a Nashville rooftop bar.

Posting to social media on Friday night, Wallen said, “I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”

“I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe,” Wallen added. “Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”

Wallen was arrested and charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment after allegedly throwing a chair off of the sixth story of the Nashville bar Chief’s on April 8th. Police said the chair landed just three feet away from two officers who were standing in front of the bar’s entrance down below.

Wallen just kicked off the 2024 leg of his  “One Night at a Time World Tour,” and is due to perform a show in Oxford, Mississippi on Saturday Night. Tickets to his upcoming tour dates are available to purchase here.
