Ezra Miller Arrested for Disorderly Conduct at a Karaoke Bar in Hawaii

The Flash star Ezra Miller was arrested in Hawaii on Monday after seemingly getting into a couple altercations with patrons of a karaoke bar in Hawaii.

The Hawaii County police announced that the nonbinary actor was arrested early on Monday and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, per Page Six. According to the police report, Miller was at a karaoke bar on Sunday night when they suddenly began “yelling obscenities and became agitated when people began singing karaoke.” At one point, Miller even allegedly lunged at a man who was playing darts and grabbed a microphone out of a woman’s hand as she was mid-song. The actor was arrested shortly after midnight, charged, and then released after posting their $500 bail. (Vanity Fair has reached out to Miller’s representative for comment.)

Miller also previously made headlines in April 2020 after a video surfaced that appeared to show them choking a woman at a bar in Reykjavík, Iceland. The seven-second clip caused some consternation online as it showed what appeared to be the actor approaching a smiling woman and saying, “You wanna fight?” Miller then seemed to grab the woman by the neck and throw her to the ground as the person filming shouted, “Whoa, bro. Bro!” It was unclear at the time whether or not the interaction was a joke. A source at the bar told Variety at the time that the incident occurred after Miller was approached by a group of fans who were “quite pushy.” The source confirmed that it was a serious altercation and the actor was “upset and angry” as he was escorted off the premises following the incident. No charges were filed.
