Keith McNally announced the happy news that his son Harry McNally is engaged to Sasha Spielberg on where else but his infamous Instagram account on Tuesday.
The famed restaurateur shared a photo of his son and director Steven Spielberg‘s daughter with their arms wrapped around one another at dinner, writing in the caption, “When Harry (McNally) Proposed to Sasha (Spielberg) on New Year’s Eve She……..said Yes!” Sasha is Spielberg’s daughter with his wife Kate Capshaw and one of seven children in their blended family. Harry’s mother is McNally’s ex, Lynn Wagenknecht. Sasha is an actress who has appeared in a number of big films, including Licorice Pizza and The Terminal. She also performs as a singer under the stage name Buzzy Lee and is set to go on tour with Haim later this year. Harry helps manage one of his parents’ restaurants, The Odeon, and is also a musician, most recently releasing a song called “Papaya.” He has also directed music videos for people like Selena Gomez, and directed Sasha’s Tiny Desk concert for NPR last March.

In an interview with Blackbook about her music in March, Sasha explained, “Truly I started Buzzy so people wouldn’t see the last name first.” She also opened up a little about her relationship with Harry and finding love, saying, “I went through another breakup during COVID. Then I met truly the love of my life [who] I’m with now. The intimacy of getting to know someone during COVID, and I hope it’s the same intimacy getting to know a record, that’s what it’s been like for me. You have no distractions. There’s nothing around you except that person.” In an Instagram post from July showing her and Harry entwined on a piano bench, Sasha also wrote, “I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it! (Please don’t unfollow).”
