TikTok Megastar Noah Beck Puts on a Shirt and Takes In Paris Fashion Week

The evolution of Noah Beck from TikTok’s shirtless boy-next-door to fashion darling continued this week with Beck landing at Paris Fashion Week, which he was able to experience in person after last season’s virtual showings. First up on his itinerary: attending Balmain’s spring-summer runway show 2022 on Wednesday which also served as an anniversary celebration marking designer Olivier Rousteing’s 10 years at the helm of the French label.

“Balmain is such an iconic brand,” the former Sway House member told Vanity Fair, before offering perhaps the highest praise that a 20-year-old in the highest echelon of TikTok fame—that’s Noah “Over 30 Million Followers” Beck to you, thank you—could give:  “Under Olivier, they’ve really been on the cutting edge of trends and social media.”

For the former soccer player, attending Paris Fashion Week at the invitation of fashion houses like Balmain, Isabel Marant, and Valentino still feels surreal. “I think people got so used to seeing me shirtless or in workout gear, but I love fashion,” he said. “I’m finally starting to feel like I belong at these events.”

Though Beck professed to not have a go-to fit yet, he’s already bought into the simple genius of a good, versatile black tee or pair of jeans, describing his favorite “aesthetic” as “more European style.” And as far as fashion inspirations go, Beck cited Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet, and fellow soccer-turned-sartorial star David Beckham as his favorites. “All three have great style and aren’t afraid to push the boundaries or embrace gender-bending fashion,” Beck noted.

And while much of his week in Paris will revolve around fittings and shows, the TikTok star said that he was also looking forward to getting in some good, old-fashioned tourism in. “I love walking or biking the city, taking in the scenery and people watching,” he sighed. “It’s a much better way to experience the city than just from the back of the car.”
