What is your idea of perfect happiness? A picnic in my garden in Kerdalo, Brittany.

What is your greatest extravagance? Collecting houses.

What do you most dislike about your appearance? That “little men in their 50s” belly.

What or who is the greatest love of your life? My two daughters, twins but at the same time so different.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? To get my curly hair back.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? To remain a free spirit and a happy person in such a twisted world.

What is your greatest fear? Losing my virginity.

What is your most marked characteristic? My exhausting energy.

What is your favorite occupation? Watching movies in my bed.

What is the trait you most deplore in others? Intolerance, which is never far from stupidity.

What is your current state of mind? Incredibly peaceful, with a headache.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue? In a certain way I would say intelligence, which is nothing if it’s not accompanied with kindness.

On what occasion do you lie? When I’m not with my daughters.

When and where were you happiest? Weirdly enough, in Portugal during confinement.

Where would you most like to live? Around my bed in Paris.

What is your most treasured possession? My enthusiasm.

What do you most value in your friends? Loyalty and transparency.

Who are your favorite writers? Thomas Savage, Ryszard Kapuściński, Flaubert, Murakami, Roland Barthes, Orhan Pamuk.

Who is your hero of fiction? Jesus Christ, no better fictional myth.

Which historical figure do you most identify with? Napoleon on the top of the pyramids.

What are your favorite names? Baptiste, Paloma, Eloïse, Diane, Nefer, Fetnat, Félicité, Augustin.

What is your greatest regret? Not to have my mother at my exhibition in Paris last year.

How would you like to die? In a grumpy mood, age 125.

What is your motto? Less is not more.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? Prince. It would make so many people happy!
