Massive Attack’s 3D Remixes Gang of Four’s “Where the Nightingale Sings”: Listen

Robert “3D” Del Naja of Massive Attack has remixed Gang of Four’s “Where the Nightingale Sings,” a track from a forthcoming tribute album. Listen to “Where the Nightingale Sings (Redux),” which also features Nova Twins, below (via BrooklynVegan).

“Where the Nightingale Sings (Redux)” appears on The Problem of Leisure: A Celebration of Andy Gill and Gang of Four, a tribute compilation that’s out in May. Tom Morello’s and Serj Tankian’s version of “Natural’s Not in It” from the project arrived in early January.

Gang of Four frontman Andy Gill died at 64 in early 2020, and the band has since released two EPs with his contributions, ANTI HERO and This Heaven Gives Me Migraines. Matador Records will release the 77-81 box set from the band in April.
