Capcom Releases First Developer Diary For ‘Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection’, Focusing on Series’ Return

Capcom is obviously focused at the moment on Resident Evil Village (as this Thursday indicates), but that’s not to say that they’re not giving some love to the upcoming Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection. Capcom has released the first Developer Diary for the upcoming title, focusing on what longtime fans can expect from the return of the franchise.

Capcom producer Peter Fabiano is joined by chief producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi in the video, and the two briefly chat about the series’ return, including the return of Tokuro Fujiwara, the original series director.

As for the gameplay itself, it’ll return to the “hard, but in a good way” difficulty of old, but also mix up the classic moments of the original game with some new tweaks.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is due out for Switch via the Nintendo eShop on February 25.
