Mossimo Giannulli’s Son Speaks Out Against Prison Treatment

It’s only been a week since Olivia Jade Giannulli, daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, who are now both best known for their role in the college-admissions scandal, went on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk, to apologize and clear her name. There, she gave a non-update update on her mom, who at the time had been in prison for several weeks. She said she hadn’t spoken to her mother since she went into prison because of the mandatory quarantine she had to complete initially.

Now, the lesser-known child of Giannulli and stepson of Loughlin, Gianni Giannulli, is speaking more frankly about his father’s treatment at a Lompoc prison in Southern California. According to ABC News, the younger Giannulli wrote on Instagram that his dad “has been locked in solitary confinement…for one full month” and has been “only let out every 3 days for a few moments to shower.”

He added his father was “supposed to serve his time in a minimum security camp,” but is now in “quarantine in the MEDIUM security prison in a cell” instead.

“The mental and physical damage being done from such isolation and treatment is wrong,” Gianni said, per ABC News. Lompoc prison has yet to comment.

Giannulli is set to likely serve until Easter, while his wife is expected to get out of prison next week.
