Megan Fox Accuses Ex Brian Austin Green of Being “Intoxicated” with Convincing People She’s an “Absent Mother”

Megan Fox aired a few of her grievances with her estranged husband Brian Austin Green over social media on Sunday, calling him out for what she perceived as an attempt to perpetuate the image of her as a bad parent.

Green posted a photo of himself and their 4-year-old son Journey River dressed up in costumes with the caption, “Hope you all had a good Halloween!!” The post prompted his actress ex to comment, “Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It’s not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren’t in.” She continued, “I had a great Halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram.”

“You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year,” she concluded. “You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?”

The former couple share two other young sons together in addition to Journey, 8-year-old Noah Shannon and 6-year-old Bodhi Ransom. Green also has an 18-year-old son, Kassius, with his ex-girlfriend and 90210 co-star, Vanessa Marcil. After Fox posted her comment, Green quickly deleted the original photo and then re-posted a revised version with their son cropped out. Following the exchange, Marcil also shared a cryptic message of her own, posting a Notes app screenshot that read, “Like I said….The Truth always comes out in the end….” with the caption, “#ImWithYouSister.”

Green first confirmed his separation from Fox after ten years of marriage in May after rumors first started circulating that she was dating Machine Gun Kelly. In August, Green said during an Instagram Live that he and the actress, “had an amazing 15-year relationship. We have three beautiful kids. We shared a lot together and we really went through a lot together. Right now the paths are different and she is on her path doing what she feels she needs to be doing to be happy and I’m on my path doing what I feel I need to do to be happy and it’s not for a lack of love for the kids or lack of being responsible.”
