‘Dying Light’ DLC ‘Hellraid’ Delayed, Will Launch Next Month

Those looking forward to finally getting their hands on the upcoming Hellraid DLC for Dying Light will unfortunately have to wait, as Techland have delayed the release from July 23. After a recent beta test, Techland has taken to Twitter to announce that the DLC will now launch on August 13 for PC, and August 14 for consoles.

The reasoning behind the delay is in part due to suggestions made by the community after a recent beta test. Players had voiced concern over the technical issues on the game’s Reddit page, while others had stated that the DLC felt more like a reskin with little in the way of new content.

While a few weeks won’t be enough to cram more content into the game, kudos to Techland for listening and actually working to try and iron out the bugs for the DLC. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for Dying Light 2, which was supposed to launch earlier this year, but has also been delayed. Reports of the game’s development nearing its completion have fueled rumours of a release, but nothing official has come from Techland.
