Guitar Center Offers to Replace Instruments Destroyed in LA Wildfires

Guitar Center is stepping up to the plate and offering to replace instruments and gear destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.

Through its Guitar Center Music Foundation, the retailer is now accepting applications for special one-time grants to replace instruments and/or gear. The initiative is open only to Los Angeles-based musicians and music instruction programs, and runs through February 28th, 2025. More details can be found here.

MusiCares is also offering assistance with instrument replacement and repair as well as a number of other immediate and longterm services for musicians impacted by the wildfires. Notably, MusiCares is providing $1,500 in financial relief and a $500 grocery cards to music professionals affected by the wildfires. Those in need of such assistance can find more information here.

Here at Consequence, we’ve launched a special “All for LA” edition of our Protect Live Music t-shirts, where 100% of proceeds will go to MusiCares’ Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort. Find additional ways to support and donate here.
