Kim Kardashian Sends Cooper Koch A Message
In 2024, Cooper Koch made a big impression on fans when he starred in the new Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story. Cooper played Erik Menendez in the show. According to People, the actor actually got his first Golden Globe for his performance in the show.
“This is amazing,” Cooper reveals about the award. “I’m so grateful and honored to be here. And everyone in my category’s like, insane. What a talented group of people. And I’m just honored to be next to them.”
The show was so good, in fact, it even drew Kim Kardashian in. This is no shock as Kim Kardashian is big on prison reform and talking to those convicted. Cooper reveals that the reality TV star actually slid into his DMs and let him know just how much she loved the show. Of course, Cooper was overjoyed about the message he got from her.
“It was fun,” Cooper says. He continues saying “She’s great. I love her.”
Visiting The Real Brothers Together
This wasn’t the end of the journey for Cooper and Kim. In fact, the pair actually went to visit the real Menendez brothers who are still in prison. Apparently, they spoke to them about the Green Space project which works to make ‘life in prison more closely resemble the outside world,’ People says.
Needless to say, this was a scary experience for Cooper. Unlike Kim, he doesn’t often visit prisoners.
“I was so nervous before I got there,” he said. He continues saying “I had spoken to both of them, so I knew we already kind of had a camaraderie, and they knew where I stood. I told them I supported them and I believed them. I had a feeling they were going to welcome me with open arms, but still so nerve-racking to meet someone who you’ve been listening to and are inspired by.”
Luckily for everyone, the visit went well and he even got to ‘hug both of them.’
While it seems Cooper and Kim are getting along quite nicely, there probably won’t be any romance in their future. In fact, Cooper was just out with his boyfriend at the Golden Globes and the pair seem quite happy together. Not to mention, Kim was rumored to have a boyfriend right now as well.
