Diddy Sexual Assault Allegation Doc from 50 Cent Lands at Netflix

50 Cent has found a home for his documentary series on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sexual assault allegations. As first reported by Variety, the project has landed at Netflix. What’s more, the doc has expanded in scope to Diddy’s recent federal sex crime charges.

Alexandria Stapleton will direct and serve as executive producer for House of Nonfiction. 50 Cent will executive produce through his G-Unit Film & Television banner.

Stapleton previously helmed the Netflix documentary Hello, Privilege. It’s Me, Chelsea; FX’s docuseries Pride; and a 2023 Reggie Jackson documentary titled Reggie.

“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far,” said 50 Cent and Stapleton in a joint statement. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

50 Cent announced he would be executive producing a documentary about Combs’ allegations this past December, with proceeds going to “victims of sexual assault and rape.” At that point, four women — including his former girlfriend and label signee Cassie — had filed sexual assault lawsuits.

He also previewed the documentary with a clip of former Bad Boy Records rapper Mark Curry alleging that Combs would spike alcohol at parties to serve to women, and keep special, un-spiked bottles for the men.

Last week, Combs was arrested and indicted on federal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty, but remains in custody after being denied bail.
