Death Drop: Back in the Habit is the drag murder mystery you need to get tickets for

Death Drop: Back in the Habit is heading to West End and on a UK tour.

A drag murder mystery that follows a nun killer – aka sister slayer – is coming to the West End.

Entitled Death Drop 2: Back in the Habit, the all-new production will head to London’s Garrick Theatre from 8-20.

The show will also embark on a UK tour starting from 27 October, 2022 until 18 March, 2023.

Fans can get their hands on tickets from lovetheatre.com and for the UK tour dates from atgtickets.com.

The plot sees a gaggle of fabulous nuns trapped in their convent with a serial slayer slashing their way through the sisters.

They say: “As the clues are unearthed by Sis Marple, you’ll be laughing in the pews as the hilarious, fierce, all-drag killer comedy comes to its thrilling and uproarious conclusion.”

The all-new production has been written by Rob Evans and directed once again by Jesse Jones and it will kick off on 27 October in Bromley.

It’ll then head to venues across the UK including Cardiff, Brighton, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and Birmingham into 2023.

Previous stars of Death Drop have included Drag Race alumni, Latrice Royale, Willam, Kitty Scott Claus and Jujubee.

During a show at The Lowry Theatre, Manchester in October 2021, the musical was forced to halt a performance after a “transphobic incident” took place in the front row.

The Death Drop Twitter account shared the next day: “There was an incident of transphobia that happened to one of our patrons in Salford.

“Our company, creative team and crew is made up of trans, non-binary, queer, LGBT+ people, we will not tolerate any bigoted behaviour whatsoever, your money is not welcome on Tuck Island.”

The star of the show, Holly Stars added: “To the transphobic heckling pig from the front row: GET TO ABSOLUTE F**K.”
