Scream Factory Announces 4K UHD Editions for ‘The Fog’, ‘Army of Darkness’ and 2013’s ‘Evil Dead’ Remake!

Scream Factory decided to unload this 4th of July with a trio of upcoming 4K UHD announcements, including the reveal of Fede Álvarez‘s 2013 remake of Evil Dead!

John Carpenter’s The Fog will be getting a new 4K UHD release on September 13. And much like they’ve done with past Carpenter releases, Scream Factory are going all out with several editions, including a Limited Edition Steelbook, the film’s soundtrack on vinyl, enamel pins from Gutter Garbs, and a figure of Adrienne Barbeau‘s Stevie Wayne, courtesy of NECA.

Extras are still to be determined for the set. Pre-orders for The Fog 4K UHD are now open.

Next up is Sam Raimi’s Army of Darkness, which will arrive in 4K UHD on September 27, and will go nicely with the 4K Evil Dead set released last yearArmy of Darkness will also be available in several editions. Extras are once again to be determined, but from the initial description, the set will include the Theatrical Cut, the Director’s Cut, the International Cut and TV Cut.

There’s also the Limited Edition Steelbook version, as well as limited editions featuring enamel pins from Gutter Garbs for the standard Collector’s Edition and the Steelbook version.

Finally, there’s the Evil Dead remake, which will arrive on 4K UHD on September 27, as well. Extras are still being determined, but again, from the initial description, the set will include both the Theatrical cut, as well as Álvarez’s 96-minute Director’s Cut!
