“You look radiant and so happy!” Lynne Spears commented on Britney Spears’s wedding pics on Instagram, as spotted by the eagle-eyed reporters at PageSix.
“Your wedding is the ‘Dream’ wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special!” she continued. “I am soooo happy for you! I love you!”

Lynne was not invited to the nuptials at Britney’s home in Thousand Oaks, California, nor was the bride’s father, Jamie Spears, whose conservatorship over the singer was finally severed after a protracted legal battle that concluded in November 2021.
Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears, whose book Things I Should Have Said inspired Britney to call her a “scum person,” was also left off the guest list when she tied the knot with Sam Asghari. PageSix reports that Bryan Spears, the singer’s brother, was invited, but he declined to attend.
Luckily, there were plenty of celebs to fill the gap. Selena Gomez and Madonna were there, as was Drew Barrymore, who was so moved by the fairy tale aspect to the big night that she took to Instagram to describe the warmth she felt (and also plug her 1998 movie Ever After.)
