What is the best price of the Oculus Quest 2 in the UK?
There’s quite a few different bundles of the Oculus Quest 2 available at the moment, so we’ll break it down for you.
To start with you can get sizes 64GB, 128GB or 256GB, and then once you choose your preferred size, you can get the standard headset or bundles featuring accessories.
The cheapest edition available in the UK at the moment is 128GB version of the standard headset. This is priced at £299 from Currys, John Lewis and Very.
If you want more for your money then you can get the 128GB edition as a bundle at the following prices:
- Oculus Quest 2 128GB headset – £299
- Oculus Quest 2 128GB with carry case – £319
- Oculus Quest 2 128GB with carry case and elite strap – £359
If you’re after the bigger 256GB version of the Oculus Quest 2 then this is priced from £399 and the following bundles are available:
- Oculus Quest 2 256GB headset – £399
- Oculus Quest 2 256GB with elite strap – £419
- Oculus Quest 2 256GB with elite strap and carry case – £459
The 64GB is harder to track down, with Amazon currently stocking it, but it’s actually more expensive than the larger size ones as it’s been replaced by the 128GB edition.
So for now your best bet for the cheapest headset is the 128GB for £299.
Will there be a Black Friday Oculus Quest 2 sale?
Black Friday 2021 falls on 26 November, but similar to previous years, you can expect to see plenty of deals launched ahead of the official day.
A number of big retailers including Amazon often reserve their best offers for the day itself, but there’s still some decent savings to be made across November.
However if you’re after an Oculus Quest 2 discount, then we’d expect those to land on the day itself on 26 November or on Cyber Monday, which takes place on 29 November.
With the 128GB replacing the 64GB, the older model would’ve been likely to be discounted on Black Friday, but it’s currently unavailable to buy.
Looking at previous Black Friday deals from gaming brands including Nintendo, what’s most likely to happen is discounts on the Oculus Quest 2 bundles.
Although the headset, carry case and elite strap bundle have the highest price mark, it would be a chance to get the whole set cheaper than ever before, so watch this space.
