‘Omen of Sorrow’ Narrows Its Xbox Series Release to September

THQ Nordic is currently sitting on the Carmageddon IP, but they also have Wreckfest. You know what’s coming. Announced today in a crossover event to start the new tournament season, Wreckfest introduces a new mode, as well as adding a new car and tracks.

And yes, Max Damage’s Eagle-R from Carmageddon is that new car. As you’ll see from the trailer below, you can deck Max’s car out in a variety of paint jobs while you’re mowing over zombies in the new Carnage Accumulator mode. Of course, for ratings reasons, we don’t get the humans from the original Carmageddon to mow down, but that’s a sacrifice some are willing to take.

If not, you can always grab the original Carmageddon from Steam or GOG for some good red plasma.

The new tournament season is on now for Wreckfest. You can grab it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series or PC.
