Put away those tissues and stop all of your sobbing. Love may not be dead.
On Friday reports broke that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were reaching the end of their romance after a two year engagement. The former Yankees slugger even went so far as to post an Instagram of himself, alone, on a boat.
But never count a power couple out. J-Rod have released a statement, as reported in PEOPLE, which reads “we are working through some things.”
The magazine then quotes a source close to the two, who says they have “hit a rough patch” but are “not broken up.”
Lopez is currently working in the Dominican Republic, shooting the upcoming film Shotgun Wedding (which was supposed to co-star Armie Hammer before he resigned in the midst of his current fall from grace.) Rodriguez has remained in Miami.
The two were engaged in the Bahamas in March 2019 after dating for two years. Their wedding has been postponed twice.
