Michael Myers emerges from Laurie’s burning house in this incredibly cool brand new shot from Halloween Kills, set to resume his legendary killing spree in this year’s sequel.
Director David Gordon Green tells Empire, who shared the latest image from the film that you’ll find down below, “This film is about community fear, paranoia, misinformation and crowd panic. This movie is a great popcorn genre movie and not really any kind of statement, but it’s strange how things line up. It couldn’t be a more interesting time to release a movie like this.”
The cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak and Robert Longstreet, with original Halloween actor Charles Cyphers returning as Sheriff Leigh Brackett.
Anthony Michael Hall also stars in the new film as Tommy Doyle, with the returning Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers.
Gordon Green wrote the script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
The current release date for Halloween Kills is October 15, 2021, only in theaters.
