We had learned well over a year ago that Shailene Woodley was set to star in a serial killer thriller titled Misanthrope, and we’ve finally got another update on that one today.
Deadline reports that Ben Mendelsohn (“The Outsider”) will star alongside Woodley.
The site details, “Woodley stars as a talented but troubled cop who is recruited by the FBI to help profile and track a murderer. Mendelsohn will play the lead cop in the feature.”
Damian Szifron (Wild Tales) is directing a script he wrote with Jonathan Wakeham.
Woodley is also on board as producer.
