Phil Collins’s Ex-Wife Takes a Break From $40 Million Mansion Battle to Pose With Her New Bentley

Phil Collins and his ex-wife Orianne Cevey are still currently locked in a legal battle over who has the right to occupy the musician’s $40 million Miami mansion, but the jewelry designer isn’t letting a little financial dispute stop her from treating herself to a pricey new gift.

Cevey posted two images of herself to her Instagram account on Thursday that showed her posing at a Miami car dealership in front of what appears to be a black Bentley Continental GT, which typically retails for around $200,000. To give the photos an extra dose of glamour and drama, she wore a floor-length evening gown with a short train paired with a wrist full of chunky bracelets. “Me and Big Bear,” she captioned one shot with a heart-eye emoji, captioning a second “Me and my little Choupette!” In the second post, Cevey also held up a neon yellow “Sold Sorry” sign next to the car’s open door.

The luxury vehicle appears to be a celebratory purchase after the jewelry designer and Collins managed to put one aspect of their ongoing lawsuit to rest on Friday following a court-suggested mediation. During Friday’s Zoom meeting, the on-again, off-again couple agreed that Cevey and her new husband, Thomas Bates, would vacate the mansion by “mid-January” so that it can be put on the market, according to the Daily Mail. But the contentious exes still haven’t settled Cevey’s counterclaim that she’s owed $20 million as she alleges they had an oral agreement that the property was half hers, so the former couple will once again have to face each other in court in the future.
