Searchlight and Claire Foy Head Back to the 1930s for Horror Movie ‘Dust’

Unsane and The Girl in the Spider’s Web actress Claire Foy has been set to star in psychological horror movie Dust, and the project has been picked up by Searchlight Pictures.

THR reports, “The story is set against the backdrop of increasingly horrific dust storms in 1930s Oklahoma and tells of a young mother, to be played by Foy, haunted by the past who becomes convinced that a mysterious presence is threatening her family and takes extraordinary measures to protect them.”

Will Joines and Karrie Crouse are directing.

Crouse (“Westworld”) wrote the script.
