The Kinks Announce 50th Anniversary Reissue of Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround Part One

The Kinks have announced a 50th anniversary reissue of their 1970 album Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround Part One. The reissue is available December 18 and includes remastered audio, singles, B-sides, alternate original mixes, and more. Check out the Kinks’ announcement below. Plus, listen to Ray Davies’ new remix of “Any Time,” now called “The Follower / Any Time 2020.”

Lola Versus Powerman included the Kinks’ hit singles “Lola” and “Apeman.” The deluxe edition reissue includes a 60-page book, 3xCDs, two 7” singles, and color prints. The 2xLP and 2xCD editions feature a booklet with comprehensive notes, new quotes from the band, rare photos and memorabilia. Check out an unboxing of the deluxe edition below.

Last year, the Kinks reissued their 1969 album Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire), also for its 50th anniversary.
