Miley Cyrus is set to appear at the 2020 MTV Music Video Awards. Cyrus will perform her latest single “Midnight Sky,” which arrived last week with a self-directed music video. Cyrus previously hosted in the VMAs in 2015. Last year, she performed her song “Slide Away” on the program. The 2020 VMAs—hosted by Keke Palmer—will air live Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Previously announced 2020 VMAs performers include the Weeknd, BTS, Doja Cat, J Balvin, Roddy Ricch, Maluma, and CNCO. Lady Gaga will also perform at the VMAs for the first time since 2013. The artists will perform at various outdoor locations across New York City. The ceremony was originally planned for Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
