Alamo on Demand Launches 18-Film Lucio Fulci Collection; Plus Curated Picks from Ari Aster!

The Alamo on Demand streaming service is bringing a whole lot of horror into your home with the launch of the Lucio Fulci Collection, we’re excited to announce today.

In honor of Severin Films’ documentary Fulci for Fake, which is also streaming through Alamo On Demand, the service has curated what they’re calling “one of the most comprehensive collections of Italian horror and genre filmmaker Lucio Fulci all in one place.”

Alamo on Demand has also unveiled two “Six Pack” collections from filmmaker Ari Aster. Six Packs feature six awesome movies built on a theme, curated by a member of the Alamo Drafthouse programming team along with friends of the Alamo. Six Packs are fun, awesome movies curated for a dusk-til-dawn weekend slumber party.

Aster’s collections can be found here and here, and they include films such as The Wailing, Why Don’t You Play in Hell?, Mother, Santa Sangre, The Act of Killing and Big Man Japan.

The specially curated selection of the late Lucio Fulci’s films is a collaboration with Grindhouse Releasing, Blue Underground and others. Alamo describes the collection, “The faithful will find stunning new HD restorations of Fulci’s most beloved work… and newbies will be transported into a long-gone era of truly fascinating late 20th century celluloid art, marked by its place in history and consecrated by the passing of time. Come and check out Fulci, folks. But come prepared. Once you experience the films, you will never forget the man.”

The collection includes Zombie, The Beyond, House by the Cemetery, The New York Ripper, A Cat in the Brain, City of the Living Dead, Aenigma, Manhattan Baby and more.

Movies can be rented through Alamo on Demand for $2.99 each. The two Aster-curated “Six Pack” collections can be rented for $13 each, and that provides you with all six films.
