“Who wants to chop ‘em up like the Saudis do?” a bearded, overalls-wearing Sacha Baron Cohen asked a group of hollerin’ attendees at a Washington State Three Percenters gathering in Olympia, Washington on Saturday.
The “March For Our Rights 3” event drew a crowd of 500 to Heritage Park, according to The Olympian. The pro-gun events initiated as a response to 2018’s student-led March For Our Lives demonstration held shortly after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Cohen’s unnamed ditty urges listeners to attack liberals, CNN, The World Health Organization, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Bill Gates and “mask-wearers” by either injecting them with “the Wuhan Flu” or “chopping them up like the Saudis do.” The crowd cheered and whoo-hoo-ed Cohen’s anti-Semitic taunts (the “you-know-whos”) and anti-Asian calls to violence (“nuke ‘em up like we used to do”). There was also a little room to make light of the #MeToo movement, too.
This is one of the more repulsive of Cohen’s exposés of intolerance in a career littered with them. (And it’s almost definitely Cohen, you can hear him slip into a British accent once or twice.)
According to an interview posted after-the-fact, an organizer claimed that they received a large, late donation from California to secure the stage, and they had their own security to prevent anyone pulling the plug. The Washington State Three Percenters denounced Cohen on their Facebook page, as well.
A keen-eyed observer noted the someone looking a lot like Cohen in a different disguise for that interview, clearly unafraid anyone in this crowd could put two and two together.
