Universal Orlando Celebrating 30 Years With Retro Merchandise Line Including ‘Jaws: The Ride’ Collectible Glass

It’s now been 8 years since Universal Studios Orlando removed the Jaws ride from the park, making way for the Harry Potter-themed Diagon Alley. There are Easter egg tributes to the ride throughout the park and a shark is still hanging around for awesome photo-ops, but the ride is no more and it’s likely to never return to Universal Orlando again.

Depressing, but it’s always nice to see that the park has never left the ride completely behind. You’ll still find Jaws merchandise in the various shops throughout Universal Orlando, and a brand new line of merchandise that pays tribute to the 30th anniversary of the park’s opening (June 7, 1990) includes a retro-style collectible glass that remembers the ride!

Four different “retro attraction” glasses are now available in the park and online, selling for $10 each: Jaws, Back to the Future, Kongfrontation and the classic E.T. Adventure.

There are also brand new 30th anniversary t-shirts, coffee mugs, pennants, license plates, towels, bumper stickers and coasters that similarly represent Jaws: The Ride on them.

Head over to WDW News Today to see the full 30th anniversary collection.
