Princess Charlène and Prince Albert of Monaco have escaped to Venice. A trip outside the official schedule of the Monegasque princes that has transcended thanks to the publication of a couple of photos of the royals on the profile of Tour Leader Treviso, a private tour company.

In a post on the company’s Instagram account, Charlène and Albert are seen at the Santa Lucia train station in Venice, “ready to board the train at the end of their Venetian vacation,” the publication notes.

In the images, they are surrounded by people, onlookers and fans surprised by their presence in the busy station but the royal couple looks relaxed and elegant. The prince, in a navy blue jacket and tie; and the princess, in a romantic powder pink dress with floral print, quite different from her usual style in which usually predominate straight silhouettes and neutral colors or monochrome looks. But in this instance, Charlène has chosen a long dress from designer Erdem, a favorite of other royals like Kate Middleton or her sister-in-law Caroline of Monaco, who an Erdem look on her recent trip to Cuba.
