Several Christian leaders formerly associated with a major anti-LGBTQ+ evangelist have issued a scathing condemnation of his behavior and called for his removal from leadership.
The former associates denounced Christian evangelist Sean Feucht for “longstanding and serious moral, ethical, financial, organizational, and governance failures,” and issued a report documenting corruption and abuse associated with his ministry.

Feucht has organized scores of anti-LGBTQ+ rallies and events and was central to the far right’s messaging on Disney’s response to Florida’s Don’t Say Gay legislation in 2023. Feucht accused Disney of “actively fighting for children to be sexually indoctrinated” at the time.
Feucht has also been a fierce opponent of corporate support for the LGBTQ+ community online, threatening companies and organizations with boycotts and public shaming.
In 2024, Feucht sued the city of Spokane, Washington, for $2 million over a resolution referring to him as an “anti-LGBTQ extremist.”
The evangelist participated in a White House prayer session with the current president in 2019.
“To remain silent about the dangers of Sean’s sin is not Biblical nor loving and it dishonors Sean and these board members, Sean’s victims, and those who are exposed to him via social media platforms and in-person events,” his former associates said.
The allegations describe a longstanding pattern of moral and ethical misconduct, including manipulation, exaggeration, control, lying, gaslighting, and spiritual and emotional abuse by Feucht.
The signers were all associated in various capacities with Burn 24/7, a group Feucht started in 2006 that hosts regular prayer and worship gatherings in cities around the world, Ministry Watch reported.
The scathing account details how Feucht “has consistently used his public platform to portray a persona inconsistent with his private conduct.”
He “routinely oscillates between presenting himself as a victim and domineering others, depending on what benefits him most in a given moment,” his former associates write, while he “routinely boasts in his own self-importance.”
“Individuals around him” are “only stepping-stones to his next important ‘mandate.’”
The signers also claim Feucht has “has misrepresented ministry activities by exaggeration and outright lies,” which they say include “ceaseless financial solicitation intermingled with his grandiose visions, which has led to untold financial gain and a steady stream of unpaid labor from volunteers.”
“We have consistently witnessed Sean publicly point his finger at the sin of the world yet repeatedly fail to take responsibility for acknowledging, repenting of and turning away from his own serious and habitual sin,” they asserted.
Among financial improprieties committed by Feucht, his accusers claim he repeatedly diverted donations to personal accounts, used business credit cards for personal expenses, inflated prices paid to vendors, and used ministry funds to amass a huge real estate portfolio at his donors’ expense.
Multiple properties across the country owned by Feucht or Sean Feucht Ministries include a $3.45 million “parsonage” purchased in March 2024 in San Juan Capistrano, California, a million-dollar home in Washington, D.C., a 40-acre ranch in Montana, and a condominium near Laguna Beach, among several others.
Feucht earned rental income by charging his own ministry fees for ministry meetings at the properties.
The accusations corroborate a recent MinistryWatch database report that gave Sean Feucht Ministries an “F” transparency grade, no stars for financial efficiency, and a donor confidence score of 19 out of 100, meaning donors should withhold giving.
