Taylor Swift Gives Eras Tour Staff $197 Million In Bonuses

Taylor Swift made sure her team was well taken care of after the hard work they put in during her nearly two-year-long Eras Tour.

The Tortured Poets Department singer, 34, gave out a total of $197 million in bonuses to everyone on her staff — from truck drivers and caterers to dancers and security, People reported. All crew members — even those on the lighting team, sound team, production staff, band, choreographers, hair, makeup, wardrobe and physical therapists — were included in the bonus payments.

The Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, and wrapped up its first leg in August 2023. At that time, Swift had already given over $55 million in bonuses to her team, according to People.

At her final performance on Sunday, December 8, Swift expressed her gratitude to the fans in a heartfelt speech during the opening of her Lover set.

“We have toured the entire world. We have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” she said.

Before singing her last song, “Karma,” during the Midnights set, she also thanked the fans for their support throughout the tour.

“I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour,” she said.

The Eras Tour was a record-breaking success, with 10,168,008 fans attending across all dates and generating $2,077,618,725 in total ticket sales, according to Taylor Swift’s production company, Taylor Swift Touring.
