This is the story of Margot Stone, a New York architect who unexpectedly inherits a gorgeous English manor. At this enchanted manor, Margot enjoys the holiday seasons the way they celebrate in this small village. She is enjoying the local traditions and unexpectedly finds her Christmas spirit. There, she finds love and belonging as she starts a new chapter of her life.
Recently, Maria spoke to Swoon about this holiday movie. After sharing that she is a “Christmas fanatic,” she relayed why this movie is different from others that viewers will see this holiday season. That reason is because it takes place across the pond. The English location, customs, and people add something special for Christmas movie fans.
The special thing about this that sets us apart from other holiday movies that you’ve seen and loved is that it is set in London, and the British actors are outstanding. They’re funny, they’re charismatic, they’re charming. It really whisks you away and takes you to another world, and we all want that during the holidays.
This is a journey movie that Menounos says is “special.” She teases that viewers get to see “the highs and lows with somebody.” Maria concludes that modern career women may not take the time to get involved in a relationship. She finds this an interesting theme and warns, “Love will get you when you’re not looking.” Also, she adds, “I think a lot of people are chasing something that’s not even right for them.”

Maria Menounos is a romantic at heart. She has been with her husband Kevin Undergaro since she was 19. That means that they have been together for 27 years. Most of all, she considers their relationship a “strong partnership.” Maria shared, “I watched my parents be a team, and Kevin and I are a team.”
