Charlamagne Tha God misgendered Caitlyn Jenner while slamming her lack of support for trans people

Popular radio host Charlamagne Tha God misgendered Caitlyn Jenner numerous times on a recent episode of his show, The Breakfast Club – all while calling her out for not being supportive enough to the trans community.

During the episode, he recalled how Jenner came out as trans in 2015 and contemplated her support for Donald Trump.

“I live my life as a woman but… I consider myself a trans person.”

“If there’s one thing this election taught me it’s that people really do vote their interest, and their interest is not attached to their identity. And I must say, it’s fascinating to me,” Charlamagne said. “I just find it fascinating. That is also how I feel about Caitlyn because Caitlyn is trans but she is a huge Donald Trump supporter.”

He claimed that Jenner offered to work for Trump – something she disputes, saying that she would only serve if Trump offered – before going on to refer to her using he/him pronouns.

“Caitlyn Jenner, as a transgender, you just look like a devil damn fool glazing Trump and Elon the way you are after hearing stuff like that,” he said while playing comments from Trump where he expressed his opposition to gender-affirming care “Now, I don’t have a problem choosing issues over identity, but not if one of the issues is somebody trying to erase the existence of my identity altogether. What I don’t like is when someone can reap the benefits of a community, but not stand up for the rights of that community.”

He criticized her for her lack of advocacy for the trans community before going on to suggest that she took “advantage of all the privileges” that come with being trans, such as her acceptance of Glamour’s 2015 Woman of the Year, something she later regretted on X.

“If you’re going to be labeled a ‘trans champion,’ you have to be ready to go to the mat for them at all times,” he added, calling her “a rich white male.”

Charlamagne has butted heads with Trump before, suing the President-elect for using his likeness in an anti-trans campaign ad without his consent. He specifically took issue with a misrepresentation of his views to suggest he opposed transgender people.
