Dua Lipa Makes Her Tiny Desk Concert Return: Watch

Dua Lipa stopped by the NPR office in Washington D.C. this week to perform a Tiny Desk Concert.

Lipa had originally performed a “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” remotely during the pandemic in 2020; the show featured several hits from her Future Nostalgia era, and at 130 million views, remains the most-viewed Tiny Desk Concert in NPR’s history.

Now, nearly four years later, Lipa has finally arrived in person at the eponymous Tiny Desk for a concert in support of her 2024 album Radical Optimism. She opened the concert with a rendition of “Training Season,” and continued on with the mid-album cut “These Walls.” After a meditative performance of Radical Optimism closer “Happy For You,” Dua Lipa closed her Tiny Desk Concert with lead single “Houdini.”

“I’ve always wanted to come down and be by the desk,” Lipa said in between songs. “I’ve loved watching ‘Tiny Desks,’ and I love the way that artists come in and reimagine their songs and their music, and it’s always really inspiring.” Watch Dua Lipa’s Tiny Desk Concert below.

In addition to stopping by the NPR office, Dua Lipa just capped off a busy couple of weeks in the United States. She headlined both weekends of the Austin City Limits festival in Texas this month, and performed “Believe” alongside Cher for the latter’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction last week.

Meanwhile, Lipa is gearing up for a run of shows in Asia next month, and will celebrate 2025 with even more tour dates. The “Radical Optimism Tour” hits the US next fall; check out Dua Lipa’s tour dates below and get tickets to see her here.
