Demo for ‘Condemned’-Inspired ‘Butcher’s Creek’ Available Now

While it’s great that Art the Clown has made his way into the video game sphere, it’d be even better if he had his own game. Relevo and publisher Selecta Play are doing just that next year with Terrifier: The ARTcade Game, a sidescrolling beat-’em-up that pays tribute to legendary titles like Splatterhouse, Double Dragon, Battletoads, and Streets of Rage.

Set to launch for Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, Terrifier: The ARTcade Game offers fans the chance to step into the chaos of Art the Clown’s world with a blood-soaked blend of retro nostalgia and modern multiplayer madness.

Players step into the role of Art the Clown as he disrupts movie sets where films about his own gruesome acts are being shot. Instead of letting the cameras capture the staged terror, Art will be tearing through hordes of policemen, firewomen, camera operators, stunt performers, makeup artists, and even unsuspecting civilians.

The game captures the essence of the Terrifier films with bright, cartoonish pixel art and fluid animations that vividly depict the gruesome action. Players can also team up with up to 4 players for a chaotic local co-op experience. Work together or against each other in various game modes, each offering its own unique challenges.

And as expected, you’ll have plenty of weapons at your disposal. From chainsaws to cleavers, pick up a variety of weapons to turn your enemies into bloody pulp. Enjoy hilarious and gory attacks that make every fight as entertaining as it is brutal.

Directed by Damien Leone, Terrifier 3 is now available in theatres. Returning cast includes David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown), Lauren LaVera (Sienna), Samantha Scaffidi (Victoria Heyes), Elliot Fullam (Jonathan Shaw) and AEW superstar Chris Jericho (Burke), with Daniel Roebuck set to debut as Santa Claus. Makeup effects legend Tom Savini, Jason Patric, Antonella Rose, Krsy Fox, Clint Howard, and Jon Abrahams also appear.
