Collector’s Edition of ‘Blasphemous 2’ Now Available [Trailer]

Well, speculation paid off for MultiVersus fans. At EVO 2024, WB Games and developer Player First Games revealed that along with Samurai Jack, Beetlejuice will be joining the MultiVersus roster for as part of Season 2: Back in Time for the free-to-play platform fighter, launching on July 23.

While the new MultiVersus trailer focuses on Samurai Jack and his gameplay , we do get a glimpse of Beetlejuice at the end. Samurai Jack will be available when the new season launches later this week, while the Ghost with the Most will arrive later in the season. As for when, it’ll most likely be just in time for upcoming return of Beetlejuice to theatres in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, which arrives in theatres on September 4 internationally, and on September 6 in North America.

In addition to Samurai Jack, MultiVersus will be getting a Ranked mode at the start of Season 2, giving players the opportunity to participate in 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 matches while competing for leaderboard points to earn exclusive rank-based cosmetic rewards. Season 2 will also include the Water Tower, a new map where players can battle on the iconic Warner Bros. Water Tower, with “surprise nods to popular Warner Bros. Discovery characters and franchises.”

MultiVersus is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series , Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with full cross-play and cross-progression support.
