Drag Queens and Dead Things: Brooklyn’s Fiercest Face Off with Zombies!

From the mind of Tina Romero, daughter of legendary zombie director George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead), comes a new twist on the zombie takeover. Ever wondered what drag queens are up to during a zombie apocalypse? Get ready to find out!

According to the synopsis, Queens of the Dead follows “an eclectic group of drag queens, club kids, and frenemies who must put aside their personal dramas and use their unique skills to combat the brain-thirsty undead when a zombie apocalypse breaks out during their drag show in Brooklyn.”

A Dream Cast for a Campy Apocalypse

It’s a contemporary queer take, and we cannot wait to see it in all its campy glory. Not only is Romero tied to the project, the film also has a killer queer cast. Picture this: Jaquel Spivey (Mean Girls), Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), Margaret Cho (Fire Island), Brigette Lundy-Paine (I Saw The TV Glow) and Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story) all sharing the screen.

Nina West (Rupaul’s Drag Race), Tomas Matos (Fire Island), Quincy Dunn-Baker (No Hard Feelings), Becca Blackwell (Bros), Shaunette Renée Wilson (Black Panther), Dominique Jackson (Pose), Riki Lindhome (Knives Out), and Eve Lindley (Bros) will also star.
