Horror Puzzle Game ‘Is This Game Trying to Kill Me?’ Has You Escaping a Haunted Cabin [Trailer]

If you’ve polished off Night Springs, the first expansion for Alan Wake II (which Aaron enjoyed), you’ll sadly have to wait a little bit for the second DLC in The Lake House, but it’ll be perfect for Halloween.

Over on the Alan Wake II official site, Remedy has updated the game’s FAQ page to include more information about the upcoming physical edition of Alan Wake II, which will be coming via Limited Run Games on October 22nd. In doing so, they also dropped an October 2024 release date for The Lake House.

Details regarding the upcoming DLC are still being kept under wraps. However, the FAQ provided this blurb about the expansion: “The Lake House is a mysterious facility situated on the shores of Cauldron Lake set up by an independent government organization to conduct secret research… until something goes wrong.

Explore the Lake House and embark on an adventure as the realities of the Pacific Northwest and the Dark Place collide again.”

If you haven’t already snagged Night Springs, it’s available to all owners of the Deluxe Edition of Alan Wake II. You can purchase the Alan Wake II Deluxe Edition upgrade (which will include The Lake House DLC when it launches) on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
