“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” Actor Chance Perdomo Has Passed Away at 27

Best known to horror fans for his role in Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” actor Chance Perdomo has tragically passed away this weekend as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Perdomo, who played Sabrina’s cousin Ambrose Spellman on the show, was 27 years old.

Chance Perdomo’s career was only just getting started, and he further made a name for himself playing Landon in Netflix’s After franchise and Andre in Prime Video’s “Gen V.”

Perdomo’s acting credits date back to his on-screen start in 2017, and other roles include The Importance of Skin, Killed by My Debt, “Midsomer Murders,” and podcast “The Cipher.”

Chance Perdomo’s impressive performance in the aforementioned 2018 TV movie Killed by My Debt landed him a BAFTA TV Award nomination for “Best Leading Actor.”

The actor’s publicist issued the following statement tonight:

“On behalf of the family and his representatives, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident. His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

The team behind “The Boys” spinoff series “Gen V” also issued a statement. The show’s producers write, “For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.” You can read the full statement below.
