Live Kelly Ripa Sometimes Jokes, But Not This Week
Sometimes, especially with Michael Gelman, the ABC talk show host clashes but in a way, it almost seems like a bit of lighthearted banter. However, there have been occasions when the backstage people irritated her enough to make her snap. This week, her day started badly, and it got worse, as more than one error distracted her from her job.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos took Live with Kelly and Mark on the road recently, and they covered the Oscars and more. Of course, things can easily go wrong on the road, but this time it happened in the studio. So, it’s no wonder that she expressed her irritation. Usually unrattled, even Mark Consuelos seems a bit confused.

Live With Kelly And Mark Crew Make Mistakes
The audience was packed as usual, and as they walked in, Mark Consuelos and his wife smiled and waved. Then, he helped her find her seat before sitting down himself. Everything looked set for another chat about the chilly weather, some lifestyle tips, and more. However, things soon went wrong. Monsters and Critics reported that “Kelly and Mark settled into the show [and] … sounds started echoing over the microphones.”
Live Kelly Ripa got the first line where she said “Welcome to the show…everybody,” but she looked up at the ceiling as she did so. Suddenly, her voice sounded like a spooky megaphone blasting out of the sky. Mark Consuelos and his wife wondered what was going on. Both of them raised their eyebrows and looked shocked.
Irritation Rises With More Errors
With the repeated issues, Kelly said, “It’s gonna be a rocky show.” Meanwhile, Mark looked a bit flustered. Trying to carry on, she asked, “Did everybody have a good St. Patrick’s Day?” But, she spoke very slowly, and she rolled her eyes. Valiantly, Mark also made an effort to continue, but Kelly said, “I think Mike just cut your whole feed.”
Mark Consuelos carried on and talked about watching “Naked and Afraid.” However, the spotlight suddenly switched on. Angry, the Live with Kelly and Mark host looked at the ceiling again, and yelled out her disapproval:
Everybody’s first day up there? [Michael] mark this show for next year’s Emmys!
Meanwhile, the ABC audience laughed tentatively as Mark Consuelos said that the problem could lie in the fact that soon, it would be the “Spring Equinox.” Viewers could see that Kelly Ripa felt irritated, and who could blame her? After all, she is known as a perfectionist.
