The long wait to play DON’T NOD’s narrative Action-RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is over. From the developer behind Life is Strange and Vampyr, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden was initially revealed during The Game Awards 2022, and is set in 1695 in New Eden, where communities of settlers are plagued by a curse. As Banishers, Antea and Red are trained spirit-hunters, protecting people from lingering specters. But when tragedy strikes and Antea herself becomes a ghost, Red struggles between honoring his Banisher oath, and sacrificing the living in a desperate bid to bring Antea back.
